Description

Description:

Bromelain + Trypsin is a combination medication categorized as an 'analgesic,' primarily used to alleviate musculoskeletal pain associated with conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It can also provide relief from acute (short-term) pain such as toothache, ear pain, throat pain, muscle aches, and backaches. Pain can arise from tissue damage in muscles, bones, or other organs, either for a brief period (acute) or an extended duration (chronic).

This medication contains 2 active components:  Trypsin and Bromelain. Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain are enzymes known for their antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They work by increasing blood flow to the affected area, thereby reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation.

Bromelain + Trypsin should be taken as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, and swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Your doctor will determine the duration of treatment based on your specific medical condition. Some common side effects of this medication may include vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, rash, or mouth sores. Most of these side effects typically do not require medical attention and tend to resolve over time. However, if you experience persistent or worsening side effects, it's advisable to consult your doctor.

If you have a known allergy to Bromelain + Trypsin or any other medicines, it's important to inform your doctor. This medication should be avoided by individuals who are allergic to ingredients like pineapple, carrot, papaya, fennel, or certain pollens. Pregnant women are not recommended to take Bromelain + Trypsin, as it contains Bromelain, which may increase the risk of abortion or miscarriage. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medication. Additionally, it's essential to inform your doctor if you are scheduled for any planned surgery while taking Bromelain + Trypsin.
